On 20.04.2026 the following order was passed : ‘Challenge in the present writ petition is to the order of ejectment passed under the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Haryana Amendment Act, 1991 (Haryana Act No.2 of 1992). During the pendency of the writ petition, an amended written statement was filed by the Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat (respondent No.4 herein) wherein it has been stated that the Gram Panchayat took possession of the land in dispute on 17.01.1999 pursuant to the order of ejectment and later the said land was leased on Patta on AMAN JAIN 2026.05.14 09:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment CWP-6848-1999 (O&M) -2- 23.02.1999 i.e. much prior to th
