(Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 is for issuance of direction to the official respondents to investigate the matter/complaint of the petitioner and get lodged an FIR against the private respondents. A persual of the petition would reveal that the petitioner seeks registration of an FIR on the basis of complaint made by him. Such directions cannot be issued in a petition under Section 528 of BNSS (Section 482 Cr.P.C.). However, the present petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to avail his remedies in accordance with law.
