The present appeal has been filed by the claimant-appellant seeking enhancement of compensation awarded by the learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal. 4. A perusal of the paper-book reveals that the appellant - Montu suffered injuries in a motor vehicular accident which occurred on 21.01.2023 due to rash and negligent driving of the offending vehicle. On account thereof, the appellant instituted a claim petition under Section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 seeking compensation from the driver, owner and insurer of the offending vehicle.
