(ORAL) [1] Tenant-petitioner is in revision, aggrieved of the orders passed by the learned Rent Controller on an application filed by the landlord under Section 20 (2) (d) of the Punjab Rent Act, 1995, whereby eviction from the demised premises has been ordered. [2] The landlord filed a petition under Section 20(2) (d) of the Act, claiming that the shop has become unsafe and unfit for human habitation and is not fit for carrying out any business. He needs the demised premises for construction. It cannot be carried out without the same being vacated by the respondent. The petitioner further claimed that after re-construction of the shop, the said shop would be utilized by his son for his business.
