Prayer in the present petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of writ in the nature of habeas corpus to relase Salima daughter of Mohamad Suker Deen from the illegal custody of respondent No.4 and hand over her custody to the petitioner. 2. This Court vide order dated 26.05.2026, directed the State to produce the detenue, namely, Salima. 3. In compliance to the same, the alleged detenue, Salima, is present in the Court. This Court has interacted with her. She has submitted before this Court that her date of birth is 01.01.2008.
