First bail petition, i.e. CRM-M-23145-2022, was withdrawn by the petitioner vide order dated 20.10.2023 (P-2). Present second petition has been filed under Section 483 of BNSS (corresponding to Section 439 Cr.P.C.) seeking regular bail in FIR No. 120 dated 27.12.2021, under Section 15 of the NDPS Act (Section 29 of the NDPS Act was added later), registered at Police Station Mamdot, District Ferozepur. 2. As per the allegations in the FIR, on the basis of secret information that petitioner, who is a habitual offender in narcotic cases, could be apprehended in a car, FIR in question was registered before effecting the actual recovery. During investigation, petitioner was intercepted while driving the car. A recovery of 150 kg(50 kg x 10 bags) of poppy husk was effected from the said car.
