The petition in hand has been preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with the following substantive prayer(s):- “Issue a writ, order or direction especially in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents no.2 to 5 to protect life and the liberty of the petitioner and her family members at the hands of the private respondents who are regularly the harassing and threatening petitioner and her family members and are giving regular life threats to the petitioner and her family members. Further issue appropriate direction to the respondent No.2 to assess the life threat of the petitioner and family members and the her petitioner shall be granted appropriate police protection/security for the petitioner and her family members.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for sometime, has limited his prayer by stating that she w
