The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari for quashing the order dated 24/26.02.2026 (Annexure P-12), passed by respondent No.3-District Education Officer (SE), Pathankot, whereby claim of the petitioner for grant him benefit of Old Pension Scheme, has been rejected. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted the benefit of his earlier service from 07.12.2002 to 08.12.2011 (09 years and 01 day) as qualifying service for the purpose of pensionary benefits, vide order dated 22.11.2024 (Annexure P-5).
