Briefly stating, some land owned by the petitioners, situated within the revenue estate of Village Jat Joshi, Rathdhana and Ahmadpur, Tehsil District Sonepat was acquired vide notifications dated 22.02.2010 and 17.02.2011 issued under Sections 4 and 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894(for short ‘the Act’), respectively, for the purpose of construction of Sports Stadium in Sector 4, Sonepat.
