(ORAL) Prayer in the instant writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for setting aside the action of the respondents, whereby the application filed by the petitioner for re-issuance of the passport by correcting her date of birth was declined. 1.1 A further prayer has been made in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to re-issue the passport of the petitioner with her correct date of birth as 21.06.1963. 2. Today, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents- Union of India informs the Court that presently no application for re- issuance of the passport of the petitioner is pending before the passport authority. However, he submits that in case the petitioner submits a fresh application for re-
