(ORAL) The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.41 dated 25.04.2020 under Sections 420, 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Patara, District Jalandhar Rural, and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 05.11.2020 (Annexure P-2). Learned State counsel at the outset has submitted that the compromise arrived at between the parties is a partial one and thus, the present petition is not maintainable. Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail alternative remedy as available to him under law.
