(Oral) The petitioners namely Manjeet Kaur and Sukhwinder Singh have approached this Court under Articles 226 of the Constitution of India for seeking protection of their life and personal liberty from the private respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioners inter alia contends that the petitioners are major and are staying together in live-in relationship. However, their relationship is not acceptable to the private respondents and as a result thereof, the private respondents are threatening the petitioners. A representation dated 21.04.2026 (Annexure P-3) against the threat extended at the hands of the private respondents already stands submitted by the petitioners to the respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka.
