(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (now Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023) for seeking quashing of FIR No.0012 dated 12.02.2021 registered under Sections 279, 337, 338, 427 [Section 304-A added later on] of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Sadar Phagwara, District Kapurthala. 2. At the very outset, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that since the petitioner has already been acquitted in the present case vide judgment dated 10.03.2026 passed in CHI/96/2024 by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Phagwara, the present petition has been rendered infructuous. 3.
