(ORAL) 1 The injured-claimant is in appeal seeking enhancement of compensation awarded in a claim petition filed under Sections 166 and 140 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, on account of 80% permanent disability suffered by him. 2 Claimant was 22 years of age when he met with an accident on 22.08.2015. Owing to the injuries suffered in the accident his right leg was amputated. He was examined by the medical experts. As per certificate Ex.P1 his permanent disability was assessed to the extent of 80%. It has come on record that the injured-claimant was a bright student. He had completed one-year Advance Computer Programming Course (ACPC).
