The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short - ‘the BNSS’) seeking grant of anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.80 dated 24.08.2025, under Sections 103, 109 and 61(2) of Bharatiya Nayaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 and Sections 25 & 27 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station Daresi, District Ludhiana. 2. Succintly, complainant’s son died as result of a gun-shot injury. On the basis of suspicion, complainant initially mentioned names of Shusham Mota, Gagan Gill and Tony. Thereafter, the complainant suffered a supplementary statement on the basis of a CCTV footage and hence nominated the present petitioner as an accused. 3.
