Prayer in the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus is for directing respondents No.1 to 3 to release the detenue, namely, Vartika aged about 16 years (D.O.B-05.02.2010), minor daughter of the petitioner from the illegal confinement of respondents No.4 to 7 or their agents, immediately and produce her before this Court. 2. Vide order dated 12.05.2026, the State was directed to trace the detenue who was minor. 3. Today, detenue, namely, Vartika along with her mother i.e. petitioner-Mamta, is present in the court. 4.
