(ORAL) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to exempt the petitioner from physically intensive census duty or assign her alternate duty commensurate to her medical condition. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is suffering from knee problems for the last five years and has been advised knee replacement, which is apparent from the doctor’s prescription dated 05.05.2026, Annexure P-6. This condition makes it difficult for her to perform census duties which require her to go door-to-door. 3.
