This petition has been filed under Section 528 BNSS, 2023 seeking direction to the official respondents No. 2 and 3 to conclude the investigation in case bearing FIR No. 286 dated 28.11.2022 under Sections 174-A IPC registered at Police Station Civil Lines Bathinda District Bathinda after effecting the arrest of accused/respondent No. 4 and to bring the case to its logical conclusion as accused respondent no. 4 is roaming freely despite being declared a proclaimed person on 26.11.2020, the police having failed to take necessary action despite request and representation dated 08.03.2025. 2. Learned State counsel submits that accused has been arrested on 03.09.2025. 3. In view of the statement made by. ld. State counsel, no further order is required to be passed in this case.
