The petitioners have filed the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioners for their regular promotion as Agriculture Sub Inspector w.e.f. 31.03.1998 i.e. the date on which their juniors Beldars have been promoted and to grant them all consequential benefits i.e. difference of pension and revised pension, revised gratuity, difference of leave encashment and difference of salary after re-fixation of salary along with interest. 2. After arguing the case for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to avail other legal remedies in accordance with law. 3.
