The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari for quashing the order dated 21.11.2022 (Annexure P-8), passed by respondent No.2, whereby the claim of the petitioner has been partly allowed. Further, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to release the retiral benefits wrongly withheld, to the petitioner, along with interest @ 18% per annum from the date of retirement i.e. 31.03.2021, till actual date of payment. 2. Brief facts of the case, as have been pleaded in the petition, are that the petitioner had joined the services as Teacher with respondent No.4-Arya Girls High School, Bathinda, in the year 1998.
