The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the official respondents No. 1 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members at the hands of respondents No. 5 to 7 in terms of his complaint dated 01.12.2025 (Annexure P-15). 2. Reply has been filed by the respondent-State. Learned State counsel has submitted that the aforementioned complaint submitted by the petitioner was duly inquired into through ASI Gurwinder Singh, wherein statements of both the parties were recorded but no threat was found towards the life and liberty of the petitioner or his family members. It is also submitted that both the parties are already facing trial in FIR No. 281 of 2014. 3. Learned counsel for
