Petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023, seeking quashing of complaint No. NACT/2592/2025 (Annexure P-1), instituted by the respondent under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (for brevity, ‘NI Act’), pending before the learned JMIC, Jalandhar, along with summoning order dated 18.03.2025 (Annexure P-4) and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 2.
