The substantive prayer made in the instant petition reads thus: “That the Petition under section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for quashing of order dated 30.09.2025 (Annexure P-7) passed by the Hon'ble Ld. Addl. Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, in FIR No. 81 dated 09.04.2020 (Annexure P-1) under Section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 registered at Police Station, Phillaur, District Jalandhar (Rural), Punjab, whereby, whereby, the supardari of car bearing no. PB-01-C- 3097 allowed vide order dated 16.05.2020 (Annexure P-3) has been canceled, and the same being illegal, arbitrary and against the settled principles of law.” 2. A perusal of the impugned order dated 30.09.2025 reflects that the Sapurdari earlier extended in favour of the petitioner was cancelled, as the petitioner was
