(Oral) In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.3 to grant arms license to the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner had submitted an application for grant of arms license on 06.11.2019. However, the said application was rejected on 23.06.2023 through an automated message (Annexure P-4). Aggrieved against the aforesaid rejection, the petitioner preferred an appeal on 25.07.2023 before the Appellate Authority i.e. respondent No.2, which was accepted vide order dated 10.08.2023 (Annexure P-5) and the matter was remanded back to the District Magistrate, Palwal with a direction to hear the petitioner in respect to the application submitted by him for grant of arms license and to take a fresh decision on merits b
