DEEPAK GUPTA, J.(Oral) Ejectment order against the peoner-tenant was passed by learned Rent Controller, Jalandhar on 16.03.2024 in respect of a demised shop, in a peon filed under Secon 13 of the East Punjab Rent Restricon Act vide Annexure P-1. The peoner-tenant filed appeal. The Appellate Authority vide its order dated 09.04.2025 stayed the operaon of the ejectment order, subject to the condion that the appellant-tenant had to pay the arrears of rent from 01.05.2023 ll 16.03.2024 @ `2,400/- per month; and mesne profits @ `4,000/- per month from 17.03.2024 ll disposal of the appeal. The appellant (peoner herein) was allowed specific me to clear the arrears, but the peoner failed to do so. The Appellate Authority vide impugned order dated 25.03.2026 (Annexure P-4), vacated the stay order on the applicaon moved by the landlord due to the failure of the peoner to comply with the order 09.04.2025. 2.
