Petitioner-Laxmi Devi, aged 61 years, has filed the instant petition under Section 447 of the BNSS, 2023 seeking transfer of Appeal No.CRA-53-2026, pending before the Court of the learned Sessions Judge, Rohtak, which was filed by respondent-Satyajit after his conviction under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. 2. Prime contention of the petitioner is that the respondent has neither deposited 20% of the compensation amount within the time period as directed by the Appellate Court nor any fresh order has been passed subsequent thereto by the Appellate Court. 3. This Court has perused order dated 07.03.2026 (Annexure P-6), vide which, a period of 30 days was granted to deposit 20% of the compensation amount.
