This is a petition filed under Section 528 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, for quashing of FIR No.77, dated 23.05.2024, under Sections 406, 408, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC, at PS Phase-1, District SAS Nagar (Mohali) and consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 19.11.2025 (Annexure P-2). 2. This Court vide order dated 01.05.2026 had directed the parties to appear before the Illaqa/Duty Magistrate to get their statements recorded and the learned Magistrate was directed to send its report qua the genuineness of the compromise. 3.
