The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking issuance of directions to the official respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and their family members and take action on representation (Annexure P-3). 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that a representation (Annexure P-3) has been made before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur raising their grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereon. He further submitted that at this stage, the petitioners would be satisfied if appropriate directions are issued to respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur t
