The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short “BNSS”) seeking grant of anticipatory bail in case arising out of FIR No.96 dated 04.08.2025 registered under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short “BNS”) (Section 118(2) of BNS added later on) at Police Station Chabbewal, District Hoshiarpur. 2. The aforementioned FIR was registered on the basis of statement got recorded by the complainant Balwinder Singh, alleging that on 06.07.2025, he was present in his house and on hearing some noises, he came out and found the petitioner alongwith the co-accused to be present there.
