Present revision petition has been preferred by petitioner under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for seeking direction to the learned Election Tribunal/Court to decide the election petition under Section 176 of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 filed by petitioner against respondent No. 1 in expeditious and time bound manner. 2. It is asserted that since filing of the present election petition in 2022 immediately after the elections, the matter is pending and proceeding at a slow pace. Out of 5 years, 3½ years have already passed and, in case the matter is not decided expeditiously, the very purpose of filing the election petition would stand defeated. 3.
