The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (for short “BNSS”) for quashing of FIR No.0011 dated 21.02.2025 registered under Sections 281, 125(a), 125(b), 324(4) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (for short “BNS”) at Police Station City II Malerkotla, District Malerkotla along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 27.02.2026 (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties. 2. This Court vide order dated 06.04.2026 had directed the parties to appear before the trial Court to get their statements recorded and the learned Magistrate was directed to send his report qua the genuineness of the compromise.
