Through this petition challenge is made to the order dated 30.04.2026 through which the petitioner has been blacklisted from entering into contracts with the respondent-Market Committee, Ludhiana for a period of two years. 2. The penalty of debarment or as it is commonly referred to as blacklisting, results in civil death of an entrepreneur. It has a huge adverse impact on the person’s or entity’s reputation. Not only the present but also the future business prospects are adversely affected.
