Petition in hand has been filed under Section 528 BNSS for quashing of the FIR No 157 Dated 22.07.2020, under Sections 306/34 IPC 1860 registered at Police Station Chatttiwind, Amritsar, alongwith all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 2. Faced with the situation challan (charge-sheet) has been filed by the police pursuant to the filing of the present petition in hand, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition in hand, at this stage, with liberty to file afresh on the same cause of action, after laying challenge to the challan (charge-sheet) as also to the subsequent proceedings. 3.
