Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 438 Cr.P.C.), is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who has been booked in a criminal case arising out of FIR No.48 dated 05.03.2026, under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), 117(2), 190, 191(3) of BNS at Police Station Chheharta, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar. 2. On 08.05.2026, following order was passed: “(i) xx xx xx xx (ii) Learned State counsel filed status report dated 05.05.2026, which is taken on record. He submits that all the offences are since bailable, present anticipatory bail petition won’t be maintainable. (iii) Responding to the said contention, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is the Court of Sessions (Additional Sessions Judge, Amr
