The instant one is the second petition preferred by the petitioner under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short “BNSS”) for grant of regular bail in case arising out of FIR No.117 dated 06.08.2024 registered under Sections 109, 3(5) and 61(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short “BNS”) at Police Station Baghapurana, District Moga, on the allegations that on 04.08.2025, the petitioner accompanied by the co- accused Laadi, Komal and Gabbar had intercepted the complainant Gurvinder Singh. The petitioner had caught-hold of him, whereas co-accused Laadi sprinkled petrol on him and accused Gabbar set him on fire by igniting a lighter.
