117 IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH **** LPA-1178-2026 (O&M) Date of Decision:11.05.2026 KARAM CHAND AND OTHERS …..APPELLANT(S) VERSUS HVPNL AND OTHERS ….RESPONDENT(S) CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR MISHRA HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE ROHIT KAPOOR Present: Mr. Raywant Kaushik, Advocate for the appellants. Mr. Pankaj Middha, Addl., AG, Haryana. **** ASHWANI KUMAR MISHRA, J. (Oral) 1. The appellants have worked with the respondent from 1992 to 1997 for different duration. They want their services to be regularized. It is undisputed that about 287 persons have since been appointed and the appellants also want them to be dislodged. 2. Since the private respondents are already working for the last more than three decades, we find no justification to interfere with the judgment of the learned Single Judge, wherein a direction has been issued to consider the claim of private respondents for regularization in terms of judgment of the Jaggo vs. Union of India and others, 2024 SCC OnLine SC 3826. Similar matters have otherwise been dismissed by us being LPA No.332 of 2026 & LPA No.3607 of 2025. 3. We find no good ground to take a different view in the instant matter.
