The instant petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order dated 22.03.2001 (Annexure P-4), as before passing the said order, petitioner was neither given any notice nor any opportunity of hearing. Further seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing the respondents not to operate the impugned order and the petitioner be allowed to work as Junior Scale Stenographer as she has been promoted, vide order dated 30.08.2000 (Annexure P-3). 2. Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.05.2024 from the post of Superintendent Grade-II and with the efflux of time, the relief claimed in the present petition has been rendered infructuous. 3.
