(Oral) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the order dated 08.08.2024, Annexure P-8, whereby the petitioner’s representation seeking permission to rejoin as Eligible Extension Lecturer (Botany) has been rejected. Further, a direction has been sought to the respondents to permit her to rejoin as such. 2. Learned counsel contended that the petitioner was engaged as ineligible Extension Lecturer in October, 2015, and applied for maternity leave from 25.01.2021 to 25.07.2021, which was granted to her. Later, she cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) on 29.11.2022, Annexure P-9, and accordingly became eligible to be appointed as Extension Lecturer.
