(ORAL) The prayer in the present petition under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 is for issuance of appropriate directions to the respondent authorities to act in accordance with law and to take necessary coercive steps including the arrest of the accused in case FIR No.29 dated 15.04.2026 registered under Sections 115(2), 117(2), 190, 191(2) of BNS, 2023 at Police Station Shahpurkandi, District Pathankot. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that despite the registration of the aforementioned FIR and the invocation of Section 62, 64, 304 and 351(3) of BNS, 2023, no coercive steps have been taken against the accused persons named in the FIR.
