The prayer in this 4th petition under Section 483 BNSS, 2023 is for the grant of regular bail in case bearing FIR No.140 dated 01.07.2022 under Sections 21, 22 and 29 NDPS Act at Police Station Sultanpur Lodhi, District Kapurthala (Annexure P-1). 2. The brief facts of the case are that Jaswinder Singh @ Jass (petitioner) was apprehended with 230 grams of alprazolam. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. The mandatory provisions of Section 50 of the NDPS Act have not been complied with in their proper perspective. No independent witness was joined at the time of search and seizure. As the petitioner is a first-time offender, is in custody since 24.02.2025 but only 01 of the 11 prosecution witnesses has been examined so far, the trial of
