The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking the concession of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 68 dated 05.06.2025 registered under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 333, 304, 126(2), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding to Sections 323, 324, 452, 341, 34 IPC) with subsequent addition of Section 118(3) BNS (corresponding to Section 326 IPC) at Police Station Sadiq, District Faridkot. 2. This Court, vide order dated 22.04.2026, had directed the petitioner to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.). 3.
