As per the prosecution case, Jashandeep Singh @ Jassa (petitioner) was apprehended with 44 grams of heroin along with Rs.12000/- of drug money. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that non-commercial quantity of contraband has been recovered from the petitioner. As the petitioner is in custody since 17.01.2026 but challan has not yet been filed, the trial of the present case is not likely to be concluded anytime soon and therefore, he is entitled to the concession of bail.
