This petition has been preferred by the petitioner, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for directing the official respondents No.1 to 3 to protect his life and liberty as he apprehends danger at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 6. 2. On the strength of the status report, learned State counsel has stated that the present petitioner could not support the charges which he has made against the private respondents. During the enquiry proceedings, it was found that there is family partition and monetary dispute between the petitioner and son of the petitioner i.e. respondent No.4 in respect of which petitioner was directed to pursue the matter before the Ld. Civil Court. However, no evidence regarding passing of life threats to the petitioner came on record but keeping in view
