The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India averring therein that the petitioners have filed an appeal, which is pending before respondent No.2 – Collector-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Fatehabad – alongwith an application for stay. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners has stated that though the appeal was filed alongwith the application for stay on 27.04.2026, however, no order has been passed on the application for stay despite the appeal being a statutory appeal.
