The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.2 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members at the hands of respondent No.5. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a civil dispute is pending between the petitioner and respondent No.5 and in the said dispute, a civil suit contested by the petitioner as defendant was dismissed by the trial Court.
