This is the second petition under Section 483 BNSS 2023 (Erstwhile Section 439 Cr.P.C.) for grant of Regular Bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 115 dated 28.07.2022 (Annexure P-1) under Section 22-C of NDPS Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Gidderbaha, District Sri Muktsar Sahib. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was earlier granted bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 28.11.2023 (Annexure P-2) and had been regularly appearing before the trial Court. However, on 05.12.2024, he could not appear due to the sudden demise in his family, whereupon his bail was cancelled, surety bonds were forfeited, and non-bailable warrants were issued.
