In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of direction to the respondents to issue arms license to the petitioner in a time bound manner. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted an application vide acknowledgement receipt dated 10.10.2025 (Annexure P-1) for grant of arms license, however, no decision has been taken by the respondents thereupon till date. He submits that the petitioner has also submitted a representation dated 16.01.2026 (Annexure P-2) before respondent No.4 to forward the report and for expediting the police verification for the purpose of grant of arms license in light of the abovesaid acknowledgement receipt dated 10.10.2025 (Annexure P-1).
