On 07.03.2026, this Court had passed the following order:- “The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.15 dated 15.01.2026 registered under Section 21(B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Sadar Sirsa, District Sirsa. Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case on the basis of disclosure statement of co- accused, namely Ranjeet Singh @ Rana, from whom 6 gram 86 milligram of ‘heroin’ was recovered which is marginally above from the small quantity. He further submits that disclosure statement of the co-accused has no evidentiary value in the eyes of law. He has placed reliance upon the judgment of Hon’ble Supreme Court in Tofan Singh Vs. State of Tamil Nadu : 2021(4) SCC 1.
