The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking setting aside of order dated 08.07.2019 to the extent they have not been granted interest on delayed payment of compensation. 2. The victim suffered electrocution in May’ 2023. The petitioners served notice upon respondents seeking compensation in January’ 2024. The compensation of ₹9,40,003/- was released. 3. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners are entitled to interest as per Section 4A of Employees' Compensation Act, 1923 (for short ‘1923 Act’).
