The victim suffered electrocution in May’ 2023. The petitioners served notice upon respondents seeking compensation in January’ 2024. The compensation of ₹9,40,003/- was released. 3. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners are entitled to interest as per Section 4A of Employees' Compensation Act, 1923 (for short ‘1923 Act’).
