This petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 (corresponding Section 482 Cr.P.C.) seeking quashing of the order dated 27.11.2025 (Annexure P-5) in CRA-512-2025 titled as ‘Jagga Singh vs. Rakesh Kumar’ passed by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fazilka whereby the petitioner has been directed to deposit 10% of compensation amount while suspending his sentence. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the condition of depositing 10% of the amount awarded by the learned Appellate Court for suspending the sentence of the petitioner is not compliable as the petitioner is currently facing financial hardship and is not in a position to pay/deposit the said amount. 3.
